Drove up Monday to purchase some vibrams. None in stock. Ordered them and told they would be at my doorstep in one to two days. No shoes. Called Wednesday, was told I'd be called first thing in am. No call. Called back, told they were shipped to store. Said I'd be up Friday afternoon. Showed up, right shoe wrong color. Apparently that color had sold out I was "sold". Owner acted as if it were no big deal. I try to support local as often as I can even at my expense. I am very dissapointed to say the least. Could've ordered on amazon for 30 bucks less and it would've been at my door in two days. I don't want to do that. Frank, take care of your customers.
I have been going to Frank's since 2001. I had terrible knee pain from running. Frank explained to me how shoes are mass produced and feet are unique. He set me up for the best brands for my feet. Basically the box store that I had been going to was selling me the wrong brand and wrong size. Well that was the last time I ever had knee pain. My family and I have been faithful customers since then. Having two very active kids I couldn't trust any old store. And one top of it I recommend Frank's to any kind of runner. Frank took the time to explain proper form to me and difference in style of support in shoes. I have been a very active and injury free runner since I met Frank in 2001. If you are having any kind of foot, leg, hip or back pain I recommend you have a pro like Frank set you up with the right shoes.
If you are looking for a shoe/sneaker that fits your foot Frank is the man. I traveled all the way from Lousiana to his store to find a sneaker for my painful feet. Now that Frank fit me I no longer have painful feet and continue running. His customer service is awsome and his ability to put your feet in a good well fitted sneaker/shoe is second to none.
