I have given this company so much money over the past couple weeks before I move because I don't have a car. I have taken up to 3 taxis a day between my girlfriend and I and it's very expensive yet both days I called them for a ride to work they did not show up on time. Yesterday they said they had the wrong phone number. Today they didn't show up and when I called they said they don't show up at a certain time but the policy is they don't do timed arrivals in a local vicinity of Middletown and I already verified that with someone and they agreed when I called them at 2:10 p.m. that they would be there at 2:40 and then didn't show up and said they don't do it. They were making an excuse for not showing up to get me so I had to wait an extra 10 to 15 minutes and barely got to work on time. I have used their service 11 times the past two weeks and given them $20 a Time that is a lot of money for just going two miles. I find it really unacceptable of that they don't take responsibility when they make a mistake and that I give them enough notice to get here on time they had 30 minutes to come here and they just blew it off and then acted like they never agreed to come here. I won't be using their services anymore I have given this company enough money between myself and my girlfriend. It only takes a little more work to just look up the bus routes and use the bus. The bus is only $2 each way.
I am reporting them to BBB, filing a complaint with the Police Department, and seeking the advice of the Office of Human Rights in Orange County. I am also letting my representatives know about what's going on, because as someone who does not have a car, and since public transportation is abysmal here, this kind of service should not be run by people who take advantage, and discriminate.
If you have had similar experiences with this company, I advise you to speak up about it.
Sydnicate Taxi is the worst service in Orange County. They have consistently kept me waiting on average for 40 minutes for cabs, which in turn has made me late for work on several occasions, and their dispatcher today just flat out told me he refuses to send me cabs anymore because, "I complain too much." Their drivers have on occasion tried to gouge me for money than what I should be paying, and they often do not adhere to rights of passengers. I find this appalling.
I have tried with then several times they over charge and stole money from me. I had to call the cops. Worse cab company ever!!!
Edit: I figured out that there’s only about one driver who gets to you when he says he will. Everyone else seems incompetent. “I’ll be there in 5 minutes.” No you won’t. You rarely are. It’s a miracle if so.
I blame the company, I don’t think they train the drivers well.
Rarely "on time" you'll most likely wait an hour, maybe even longer.
